The Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation was established on the 50th anniversary of Sir Ed's Everest conquest. One of its key goals is to provide funding to enable financially disadvantaged or at risk teenagers to attend an OPC Hillary Centre at Tongariro or on Great Barrier Island.

Sir Ed found out early in life how our environment can provide a motivating force for positive change. All donations made during the Summits for Ed tribute tour will go towards allowing greater numbers of youth in need to attend an OPC Hillary Centre course.

We are seeking donations to the Hillary Foundation from individuals, families, small to medium businesses and corporates.

Funds raised will be invested and the income generated from these investments will be used to fund Sir Ed Hillary Scholarships to enable an additional 1200 teenagers to attend a course.
